Welcome to Just Vizsla, based in Linton to the South of Maidstone in rural Kent, we offer a reliable, professional and friendly home boarding service for the Hungarian Vizsla breed of dog.

ABOUT US

We are a canine equivalent of a Boutique Hotel in which the only guests are the Vizsla breed of dogs.

Your Vizsla will be taken in and treated as one of our own (read spoilt and pampered!) in a large comfortable house and garden in which to explore and run around in with amazing long walks around the beautiful Weald of Kent country side taking in paths through woodlands and orchards on the Greensand Way to meadows along side rivers and ponds.

We do not walk other dogs during the day that are not boarding with us, so please be assured that your dog will not be left alone.

When you have to work, need a holiday, or just a day or night out, you want your Vizsla to be cared for by somebody who understands the breed.
I do, and I have two resident Vizslas who love to meet and play with new friends.

We are fully insured and qualified in canine first aid.

The Vizsla is a dog breed from Hungary, it’s name means “searcher” or “tracker” in Hungarian.

Vizslas are very affectionate, very energetic, sensitive and loyal. They quickly form close bonds with their owners, children and even strangers. Often, they are referred to as “velcro” dogs because of their loyalty and affection.

Vizslas thrive on attention, interaction, exercise and are excellent swimmers. With proper socialization and training, Vizslas are very gentle dogs that can be great around children. The Vizsla wants to be close to its owner as much as possible, and it is commonly observed that Vizslas insist on sleeping under the covers in their owner’s bed at night.

Well that’s the text book definition, all of which is spot on! My name is Justin and I’m sure like me, being a Vizsla owner you will already appreciate just how unbelievably special is this breed of dog, their mild loving temperament, as well as being utterly bonkers make them for me, simply the most fabulous dogs on the planet.

LOLA & ELLIE

RESIDENT VIZSLAS

Our first Vizsla was Lola who was born in April 2018. Very loving and affectionate from day one she loves to bury her head in your lap and cuddle up. Also loves to roll in Fox poo and has a strange habit of eating anything from manure to discarded masks and tissues! Dislikes motorbikes and men with helmets on!

Ellie was born in April 2019 and so came along almost exactly a year after Lola. More Independant than Lola she is completely bonkers and is never still, chasing every thing from flies to reflections. She loves to dig holes in the lawn and often tries to sit on your lap in the evening almost like she thinks she’s a cat!!

Both are the best of mates who eat sleep and enjoy life together as well as meeting and making new friends.

DAY BOARDING & SLEEPOVER RATES

OUR SERVICES

Day Stays

£30 for 1 dog, £50 for 2 dogS* (PER DAY)

A day stay consists of two walks of at least 1 hour, a comfy place to rest during the day and lots of love and attention. If you require any basic training for your dog we are happy to discuss this with you. Your dog will be given a Just Vizsla tag to wear during their stay with us and if required we can also supply your dog with a coat during cold winter months.

Sleepovers

£40 FOR 1 DOG, £60 for 2 DOGS* (PER NIGHT)

A sleepover includes the same benefits of a day stay as well as feeding at your preferred times with your choosen food. You can supply your own food or we can offer a feeding package. They can sleep downstairs in a dog bed, on the sofa in the living room or a designated bed upstairs.

*2 dogs must be from the same household.
